Sarah Perks leaving Home

Artistic director moving on after Cornerhouse transition

Home’s artistic director visual art since its 2015 opening, Sarah Perks, is moving on from the Manchester multiple arts venue after leading the transition from the Cornerhouse where she led the artistic programme for its last six years.

She leaves to pursue independent curatorial and writing projects, but will remain an artistic associate at Home and continue as a professor at Manchester School of Art.

Dave Moutrey, Home’s CEO, said: "I have worked with Sarah for nearly 16 years during which time she's had an enormous impact on the visual arts landscape of this city and beyond."
