Royal Ballet’s Skoog to chair One Dance UK

Amanda Skoog, the Royal Ballet’s senior producer, is to chair the board of trustees of One Dance UK, the sector’s support organisation.

A former CEO of Shobana Jeyasingh Dance and Royal New Zealand Ballet, she joins a year after the organisation’s move to Birmingham and succeeds Sue Wyatt, who stepped down earlier this year after four years.

“My entire life has been centred around dance and this is a wonderful opportunity for me to give something back and to support the sector I love” Skoog said.  “I am in awe of the achievements of the team at One Dance UK and their dedication to help the entire dance community, especially at this time. I very much look forward to working with Andrew and the board to ensure One Dance UK continues to grow and advocate, realising the ambitions for dance, in all its genres, into the future.”
