Kathryn Jacob to chair HOME

Kathryn Jacob, CEO of the cinema advertising agency Pearl & Dean, is to be the new chair of the Manchester arts centre HOME.

Jacob is the co-author of Glass Wall of 2016 which outlines strategies for women’s success in business. She joins the board as chair – succeeding Jonty Claypole - along with two other new trustees, Ruth Bromley, a GP, and Sita Mackintosh, a theatre marketing executive.

“HOME Manchester has been a real force in developing and nurturing artistic talent and creativity across all art forms and it is a great honour to be joining the team as new chair of the board” said Jacob. “Being a part of HOME feels like the perfect fit and we share a lot of similar values in terms of encouraging diversity in the industry and the importance of empowering individuals to have a voice creatively. I am looking forward to having a significant role in driving growth at HOME and supporting the team in its ambitious targets next year and beyond."
